Newborn Sneak Peek – Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake Newborn Photographer
After I finished this session this morning I was so excited to load the images and begin my post-processing. With every image I culled through I squealed in delight because seriously this baby girl was so beautiful. She had thick, dark, spiky hair and once she had a full belly, she was a complete angel the entire session!! I have worked on this session throughout the evening and I am now ready to post a couple sneak peeks to Facebook (I always give my clients a sneak peek of at least one image within 24 hours of the session. Check out Dyan Witt Photography on Facebook!) HOWEVER, the instant my image hit my Facebook page it looked distorted. For those of you who do not know, Facebook only supports an image with a low resolution. All the details are lost and the colors are often slightly off when an image is posted to Facebook. Don’t get me wrong, I love Facebook! Great social media tool, free advertising (for the time being) and sometimes the only means of communication I use with my younger sister. But I can’t help but to think… what does a potential client think when they see my images on Facebook?
So tonight, I pledge to no longer solely rely on Facebook to present my art work to clients and potential clients. Yes of course I will still load them to Facebook so clients can easily share with friends and family. But I will also post them to my blog more frequently. So tonight I am going to carve out some time in my calendar to have a date with my WordPress Blog three two times a week.
For now, enjoy this totally adorable baby girl with her thick, dark, spiky hair!
Big thanks to Stephanie Fisher and Mandy at Stephanie Fisher Photography for allowing me to mentor with you today at your beautiful studio in Birmingham, Alabama!!
