Promotional Shoot with Carolina’s Cupcakery

For the past couple of years I have exclusively used Carolina’s Cupcakery in Hampton Roads to design and bake all the custom smash cakes for the studio. I truly appreciate their eye for detail, fabulous customer service and their cakes are so yummy!! Every time I go to the store to pick up a smash cake I end up also purchasing four cupcakes to take home. My favorite flavors are their Key Lime Cupcake, Almond I Do and Lemon.

I was so excited when the owner Dawn reached out to me with ideas for a promotional photo shoot that would include their delicious cupcakes and her adorable three year old grandson. Dawn of course enjoys baking and loves spending time with her grandson Carson who often helps her bake at home.  Also, I was super excited when Dawn requested to do the shoot in MY home kitchen!! I was happy to agree as long as she brought some extra cupcakes to the shoot. I think I need a new sign that says “Will work for cupcakes”.  The session was so much fun and super messy!!
